Keira Pride's Whole Lemon Collagen Drink

Collagen supplementation and vitamin C are the perfect catalysts for the stimulation of collagen formation within the body. This energising and nutrient dense Whole Lemon Collagen Drink recipe, created by Keira Pride of Hera Performance, is a great way to kick start your day.

 

Ingredients

  • 1 whole lemon (including pith and skin), well-scrubbed to remove any wax or residues
  • 1 ½ cup filtered water
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 knob of fresh ginger (approximately golf ball size)
  • 1 serve of Nutraviva collagen powder (Keira enjoys using Simply Beautiful Rose Berry Marine Collagen Formula for this recipe)
  • 4 drops stevia

 

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to a high-powered blender
  2. Blend for 45 seconds. The drink should be smooth in texture, with no chunks. 
  3. Serve with or without ice.
