Shipping policy

At Nutraviva, we do our best to ensure your order reaches you quickly and securely. Please review the following carefully.


Shipping rate - Australia 

  • Standard Shipping: $8 flat rate
  • Free Standard Shipping: Orders over $125 (Australia only)
  • Express Shipping: Calculated at checkout
  • Carrier: Australia Post is our primary carrier


Shipping Times - Australia 

  • Orders are generally delivered within 3–5 business days, depending on your location.
  • Orders placed before 2:00 PM (Mon–Fri, excluding public holidays) are usually shipped the same day. Orders placed after 2:00 PM will ship the next business day.
  • We cannot account for carrier delays (e.g., holiday periods or high parcel volumes).

Tracking and Delivery Information

Important: Australia Post is phasing out collection cards for missed deliveries. Instead, updates are sent via the AusPost app, email, or SMS.

If a delivery cannot be completed or collected, and is returned to us, reshipping costs will apply. We are unable to refund shipping costs for missed deliveries. 

After your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number. Use the links below to track your shipment:

It is important to add your phone number and email to your purchase, as this may be used by Australia Post to send notifications. Australia Post uses its AusPost app to provide shipping updates. We recommend using the AusPost app to manage deliveries.

If you're not at home, Australia Post will notify you via the AusPost app, email, or SMS. 

  1. When customers request that Australia Post leave a parcel in a safe place, they take a photo to assist them in locating the item.
  2. When Australia Post attempts to deliver a parcel but is unable to do so, the delivery team member may take a photo of the front door of the property.
  3. Australia Post may also capture a photo if a team member identifies a hazard that our delivery team needs to be aware of for future deliveries.

Please note: these photos will only be available to recipients using the AusPost app when Australia Post can match the parcel to their MyPost account via their email address or mobile phone number.

 

Missed Deliveries

Australia Post is phasing out collection cards for missed deliveries. Instead, updates are sent via the AusPost app, email, or SMS. 

If a delivery cannot be completed and the item is returned to us, reshipping costs will apply. We do not refund shipping costs.

If you're not home to sign for a parcel or registered post letter, or if Australia Post determines that there's no safe place to leave the item, they will take it to one of the nearest Post Offices.
You'll have 10 business days to collect it before the item is returned to the sender.

When you collect a parcel or letter from the Post Office, they will ask you to show ID proving that you're either:

  • the person it's addressed to (the 'addressee')
  • someone who's authorised to collect on the addressee's behalf

Australia Post is now managing shipping update information through phone notifications and the AusPost app. 

Please note: Redeliveries will be at the expense of the buyer. 


Shipping rate - New Zealand

All prices are listed and charged in Australian dollars (AUD).

  • Standard Shipping to New Zealand: $12 flat rate on orders up to 5 kg

  • Courier and Economy Air options: Calculated at checkout

  • Orders over 5 kg: Please contact us at enquiries@nutraviva.com.au for a shipping quote

All New Zealand orders are shipped via Australia Post and its international delivery partners.

New Zealand customs charges, GST, or border processing fees may apply on delivery. These charges are separate from shipping costs and are determined by New Zealand Customs.

  • Any customs duties, GST, or border charges are the responsibility of the recipient

  • Charges are billed directly by New Zealand authorities or the delivery partner

  • Nutraviva does not collect New Zealand GST unless legally required to do so

Customs authorities require that we declare the full retail value of goods (excluding shipping) on all international parcels.
We are unable to mark parcels as “gifts” to avoid customs charges.

Nutraviva is not responsible for parcels delayed, held, or refused by customs due to unpaid charges or import regulations.

From 1 April 2026, the New Zealand Government will introduce new border processing charges on low-value imported goods.
These charges may be applied per parcel or by weight and are payable by the recipient upon import.

We recommend allowing for this when placing orders. Further information can be obtained from New Zealand Customs.

 

Shipping Times - New Zealand

Shipping times vary by destination but typically take 3–6 business days once dispatched.

  • Orders placed before 2:00 PM (AEST), Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) are usually shipped the same business day

  • Orders placed after 2:00 PM will ship the following business day

  • Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may be affected by customs processing, carrier delays, or peak shipping periods

We are unable to account for delays once a parcel is in transit.


Customs Information

IMPORTANT: We cannot guarantee that you will or will not be charged any customs, taxes, or duties. These charges are separate from your shipping charge, and you will be billed directly for them in your home country. Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel.

Nutraviva will not be liable for packages refused or held in customs for delivery. For more information on customs and duty charges, please contact your local customs office to determine what these costs will be before purchasing.

Customs authorities require that we state the value of your order directly on your parcel, minus the shipping charge - the value is the retail cost. We are unable to mark any parcels as ‘gift’ to avoid customs or duty fees.

Local Collection Options 

Local customers can to choose to collect directly from our warehouse located at 4/15 Watt Drive Bathurst, NSW 2795.

Once you have finalised your order, call or text us on 0413 339 170 to arrange a suitable collection time between 9 am and 4 pm, Monday to Friday.

Please allow up to 4 hours for order processing to occur.
