collagen Bircher muesli

Bircher Muesli with Collagen

Start your day right with a burst of high protein energy!

Bircher Muesli is such a breakfast classic and is very quick to prepare a day ahead. This recipe is also very flexible, as you can choose to include your favourite nuts, seeds and dried fruit or to omit these additions entirely depending on your preferences.

You could even try a tropical twist, using dried pineapple and mango for your dried fruits and adding coconut water as your liquid of choice, then top with coconut yoghurt and tropical fruit.

Adding collagen powder to this recipe boosts the amount of bioavailable protein to this meal making it ideal for breakfast. The inclusion of vitamin C rich fruits also assists the body to synthesise collagen naturally.

  • 100g mixed dried fruit of choice. Sultanas, dried apricot and dates all work well.
