Collagen Banana Muffins


This delicious and nutritious snack is popular with all family members, both young and old.

Our banana muffin recipe is gluten free and easily adjustable to suit your taste and dietary needs.


Preparation time - 10 mins

Cooking time - 20 mins

12 servings



  • 3 cups of gluten free flour
  • 2 serves of NUTRAVIVA Collagen Hydrolysate, Marine Collagen or Vegan Collagen Alternative
  • 1 1/4 cups milk or milk alternative
  • 1 egg lightly mixed, or a flax egg as substitute
  • 90g melted slightly salted butter or coconut oil
  • 2 mashed bananas
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup of sugar or stevia powder



  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Lightly grease a muffin tin.
  2. Combine dry ingredients into a large bowl.
  3. Make a well in the centre and add wet ingredients.
  4. Mix together until well combined.
  5. Spoon mixture into muffin holes until three-quarters full.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes, test with a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool in pan for 1 minute.
  8. Turn out onto a wire rack or plate to cool.
