Divine Detox Green Healing Soup

Nourish from the inside out with our Divine Detox Green Healing Soup. This vibrant, velvety soup is packed with nutrient-rich greens, white beans, and creamy coconut, and elevated by the gentle warmth of ginger, garlic, and optional green curry if you like a bit of extra heat. 

Simmered with Nutraviva Pure Bone Broth for an extra boost of gut-loving goodness, it’s the perfect winter warmer to support digestion, immunity, and gentle detox. Serve it with a sprinkle of dukkah and a drizzle of olive oil for a soul-soothing bowl of green magic.

Ingredients 


1 tablespoon coconut oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 small pieces of ginger, peeled & minced
1 teaspoon - 1/2 tablespoon green curry paste ( optional )
1 onion, chopped
7 celery sticks, chopped
1 small broccoli head, cut into florets
3/4 cup white beans, cooked & drained
2 packed cups of fresh spinach
3 cups dark leafy greens ( eg, kale ) destemmed & chopped
1 can ( 1 3/4 cup ) of coconut cream
4 cups of  Nutraviva Pure Bone Broth 
1/2 lime, juiced
1/2 teaspoon Celtic salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
Optional - chopped coriander, dukkah seasoning, and olive oil for garnish

 

Method

1. In a heavy-bottomed pot over medium heat, melt the coconut oil. When melted, add the garlic, ginger & optional green curry paste. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

2. Add the onion & sauté another 2-3 minutes or until translucent, adding extra coconut oil 1 teaspoon at a time if the pan is dry. 

3. Stir in the celery & broccoli. Cover with a lid & steam for 2-3 minutes.

4. Add the beans, greens, coconut cream & Nutriviva Pure Bone Broth & bring to a simmer. The greens should be wilted & the broccoli should be cooked through & bright green. Turn off the heat & add the lime juice, salt & pepper.

5. Carefully transfer the soup to a large bowl. Rinse the stockpot.

6. With a ladle or measuring cup, transfer the soup to a blender. This will likely take two batches. Be sure not to fill past the "Max Fill" line & allow 30% expansion when blending warm food.

 7. Blend on high for 1 minute or until completely smooth, then transfer back to the pot on the stove. Return to a simmer & taste test. Add extra lime, salt, or pepper to taste. 

8. Serve immediately with chopped coriander & dukkah to garnish. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days or in the freezer for up to 6 months. Enjoy your healing & detoxing green goodness.
