Spiced Golden Collagen Milk

Warm up with this soothing and nourishing Spiced Golden Collagen Milk. Combining aromatic spices and Nutraviva Collagen Hydrolysate, this golden milk is a perfect way to relax, boost your wellness, and treat your taste buds. With just 30 minutes of prep and cooking, this recipe delivers a creamy, collagen-infused drink that’s rich in flavor and goodness. Ingredients
4 cups of preferred milk ( coconut milk is a favourite )
6 cardamom pods ( crushed )
2 star anise
1 teaspoon allspice, ground
2 large cinnamon sticks ( broken in half )
10 Peppercorns ( crushed )
2 teaspoon turmeric
½ teaspoon ground ginger or 3-4 pieces fresh ginger ( thinly sliced )
⅛ teaspoon nutmeg
2 vanilla bean, sliced in half lengthwise
2 tablespoons Nutraviva Collagen Hydrolysate (can also be substituted for 2 serves of Nutraviva Marine Collagen)
Maple syrup or honey, to taste

Method
1 - Pour all of the milk into a medium size saucepan.
2 - Add all of the spices & collagen to the milk.
3 - Bring the saucepan to a boil over medium/high heat, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 25 minutes.
4 - Pour the milk through a fine mesh sieve. Discard spices. Add maple syrup or honey to taste. 

For storage, pour into a container & place a lid on the jar of golden milk and store in the fridge for up to 5 days.

To prepare the golden milk for drinking after storage: Place the amount to be drunk in a saucepan and heat. Whisk until frothy and pour into a mug. Enjoy your golden milk packed with goodness!
