Vegan Gingerbread Latte

Vegan Gingerbread Latte

This deliciously spicy Vegan Gingerbread Latte is the perfect cool weather warmer. Makes five serves, enough for a Sunday brunch get-together. Adjust by 1/5 to make individual serve, although you will definitely want more than one!

Ingredients

  • 5 cups of milk alternative of choice
  • 2 tsp ginger
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp cloves
  • 1-2 tbsp granulated sugar or sweetener
  • A shot of espresso
  • 4 tbsp hot water
  • 4 cup non-dairy cream (to top latte)
  • Dash nutmeg
  • Dash cinnamon
  • 5 tbsp Vegan Collagen Alternative

 

Method:

  1. In saucepan, whisk together milk alternative, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and sweetener.
  2. Stir while heading over medium heat until hot, but do not allow it to reach boiling point.
  3. Either using an espresso machine or instant espresso powder, combine the espresso with the hot water and pour into a large or 2 smaller mugs.
  4. Place a strainer over the mug/s and pour the hot mixture over the espresso.
  5. Stir, then top the latter with non-dairy whipped cream and sprinkle with a touch of nutmeg and cinnamon.
