Rosehip Powder

Rosehip Powder -

Rosehip powder is a powerful antioxidant for joint health, reducing inflammation, protecting cartilage, and improving mobility. Rosehip powder is considered safe for a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, horses, poultry, guinea pigs, hamsters, and rabbits.

What is rosehip powder?

Rosehip powder is a natural product derived from the fruit of the wild rose plant, specifically the small, red, or orange fruit of the wild dog rose (Rosa canina). The rosehip is the fruit that remains after the petals of the rose have fallen off. It is known for its high nutritional content and has been used for various purposes for centuries.

When considering using rosehip powder or any feed supplement, it's best to consult with a veterinarian or an expert in the care of the specific animal. Dosage and usage may vary depending on the species and the intended purpose of using the supplement.

Directions: Add rosehip as a meal topper to your pet's wet food. You may find adding a small amount of water will assist with mixing. Do not use hot water or heat food after it is mixed with rosehip as this may reduce the efficacy of the supplement. We have included on our labeling dosage for dog sizes but this can be easily adjusted to suit other rosehip-loving animals.

Use the suggested dose for 3 to 4 weeks and monitor your pet for improved mobility and reduced inflammation symptoms. You may choose to reduce the amount to half this amount for maintenance dose following this period or continue as is.

Results can vary but if you think that your dog is having unwanted side effects such as stomach sensitivities cease supplementation at the full dose and try a slow introduction of the powder with just a pinch or two in their meal and build up.
If symptoms persist cease supplementation and look for advice from your veterinarian.

Storage: Keep sealed in a cool dry place.
